More Engine Sounds! - Dev Blog #28

Yesterday we shared work in progress with the engine, and today we wanted to share a little more information on our plans for these, with some more progress on the audio side of things.
Techblox will ultimately not just have one single engine… We will be creating lots of different types of engines. All of which will be physically simulated and have their own sounds. They’ll have their own properties and, depending on the situation, you’ll need to choose the right engine.
With regards to our first engine. We’re planning to add ‘Engine start’, ‘Idle’ and an ‘RPM Limiter’ audio into the engines. We have an example below in FMOD which is done with a ‘Tremolo DSP effect.
